Need help w/ my macbook

Help:
1. When i do the keyboard short cut for undo (Command Z), it doesn't work 
2. Is there any freeware/software to free up space on my hard drive? 
3. Every minute or so my hard drive makes the sound when you wake it up or hold down the eject key for long, it gets really annoying when I am listning to iTunes

1. It depends on what you're doing or where you are. Sometimes the command is supported, sometimes it isn't. Under what circumstances are you trying to do it?
2. WhatSize is an application that will help you analyze file/folder sizes so you can choose what to delete.
3. That's not your hard drive, it's your MacBook's DVD drive. What model MacBook do you have? This is a semi issue among older ones.

My drive does the same thing when I wake it from sleep. Cmd Z should work in 08. i was just using it this morning and had no problems. I'm sure its like any other microsoft program that will only allow the Undo function to go back so far..
