I can't see to select multiple photos from photos on icloud.com. So real tedious deleting them.
Also Pngs..screenshots.. deleting those required a box came up on screen to save, and have to tediously click save on each one..

Hold control for each photo you click to select multiple.

The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

You mean command P? Yes, but Is there a way to quickly select 50 images?

Use "shift-command". Select the first image (list format works best for this for me), then hold shift + command and click on the last image. All of them should now be highlighted for you to copy/delete/etc. I've used this to batch rename images ("vacation_2017_xxx.jpg" for example).
