"In addition to these titles, sources claim that Aspyr has landed contracts to begin producing Macintosh versions of at least two more games in the first half of the year. Development of "Dues Ex 2" and "Battlefield 1942" are rumored to begin shortly if work has not started already. Unfortunately no details on target releases dates were available and Aspyr failed to return inquiries for confirmation or additional information by press time." - AppleInsider.

I have been waiting for this game to come to OS X forever, I still play the PC version every damn day. Lets hope this is true.

[Edit: Anyone know if this is real?]

That's good news (the Battlefield 1942 part).

As for the screenshot, it could be real, but they sure aren't using Panther.

Wow, Battlefield 1942 finally? Not much reason left to get a PC for gaming now, huh? Maybe I'll just save up for that dual 3GHz.

A rumors site... don't get upset if it doesn't happen. Do get excited if it gets officially announced. There is evidence that the port could happen but don't hold your breath.

Glenda mentioned a couple of weeks ago that a decision on Deus Ex 2 had not been reached and that a large number of resources had been put toward a secret project... So I'm not sure if development could start shortly on Deus Ex 2 if their known resources are already working on stuff. I think Brad might be working on MoH Breakthrough. Duane probably on Call of Duty. Mark Krenek is probably still working on the latest Sims title, but could be working on the secret project. The other former Westlake dev, John Butler might be working on the secret project as well.

Deus Ex 2 was virtually unplayable at 640 x 480 on my PC 2500+ with a Radeon 8500...I would cringe to think about how well it would perform on anything other than a G5.

Wow, I was right with my guesses on which Aspyr programmers were working on which products.
