I was hoping to get some help. I have OS X.2.3 and I decided to load up Moon Patrol yesterday, feeling all nostalgic. (I haven't used MacMame since I got X nor did it occur to me to update MacMame.) Now, there's horrible artifacting - lovely magenta and blue - on my monitor. I tried several things, including zapping the pram, but nothing. I have the latest firmware, too. Ay yi yi. Any ideas? Thanks for your time.

Corrupt video drivers now? You might want to try and reinstall your display card drivers and see if that corrects things.

I should have mentioned I have an imac dv se. Also, I couldn't figure out how to reinstall the display card driver or even if that's possible on an imac. I have to admit I'm kind of a dope. I found the name (I think) of the display card online, but my imac pretended to not know what I was talking about.
I'll never play Moon Patrol again. Sigh.

You can't download the drivers for the videocard of your iMac DV off teh intarweb specifically. They come with Mac OS X.
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

If you're using the OpenGL plugin, turn it off and see if that helps. Also, check the mini-audit in the front-end to see if your ROMs pass. If not, hit the net for a new set.
