I thought all 17" came with 2.33GHz and 2GB RAM minimum, mine came with 1 GB RAM and 2.13GHz. I bought it almost a month ago, did they change something?

i think u got the Core Duo model... so one model behind the most recent 17" model. the 17" C2D,although announced weeks ago, have just started showing up not long ago.... definitely not a month ago.

Apple released the new 2.33Ghz C2D/2GB base configuration on October 24; it was widely expected for about 2-3 months before the release.
