I have a Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz that i bought around March of 2007. When i bought it i was told that i could handle up to 3 Gb of ram. However after looking at macsales.com it seems that i can take up to 6GB. Is this true? Also do they make DDR2 ram in 4 GB chips, and if so are they less than the $500+ for a 4 GB DDR3 chip?

Thanks for you help.

Go to Crucial.com and use the "Scan My System" tool.

Works like a charm.
