Hello All

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but has anybody else received emails from AppleStore moving back shipment date of Final Cut Studio Universal Binaries?

I received an original estimated ship date of 28 March upon confirmation of order (after returning all install disks as proof of purchase).

On 22 March I received an email from AppleStore informing me that due higher than anticipated demand shipment had been delayed to 30 March. At this point I thought bummer but still shipping as per original announcement of before end of March.

However, late today I received another email from AppleStore informing me that due to higher than anticipated demand shipment has been delayed until 06 April.

This leaves me in an awkward spot in that I cannot re-install on old mac as I no longer have any disks and a project which I have already delayed is beginning to become pressing.

Incidentally has anyone actually received shipping confirmation for Final Cut Studio Universal Binaries?

All the best
NCAJ

I didn't get any information at all (ordered 3/11) so I called Apple today. Strange: They received my Motion-DVD but not the form with date and signature, they told me. It was all in the same envelope though. So why didn't they call or email me to clarify the situation much earlier? They don't know. Now I had to fax the form, since "it's all different departements" (??). One applecare-guy who answers finalcutpro questions told me that the crossgrade is available since mid march already, nothing about delays.
If you guys still didn't receive your copy of FCS UB, you might wanna check back with the store to make sure it's all going well.

The Apple store has FC Studio 5.1 on it... and it says shipping "within 24 hours."
