I'm having a problem running internet explorer on my powerbook (g3 400mhz w/ 128 ram). Whenever I try to run a flash heavy site or open more than, say, two windows, I get warnings about low memory and that I should shut down other programs.
The odd part is, it worked fine before I took it home over winter break. The only things I've done to it are - install photoshop, install a new version of quicktime, and a new version of AIM.
So, any ideas what I can do to fix this?

Thanx in advance

The classic Mac OS doesn't have dynamic memory allocation, which has likely singly caused the most amount of difficulty for Mac users all of these years. No matter how much RAM is installed in your system, programs will still "run out of memory" because of their static memory assignment. If you upgraded your copy of IE recently, that maybe the reason why you're getting the messages. However, IE sometimes posts memory warnings falsely, so be aware of that.

In order to change the RAM allocation, quit Internet Explorer, click on the IE application icon and select Get Info from the File menu. Click on the Show menu and choose Memory. Then increase the minimum and preferred values.
