At work we have more than 25 PowerMacs that are all connected on a network. The problems we are having is that when I send a Photoshop (or any other file) to a users drop box they can only open and view the file, they cannot save the file. When I do a "Get Info" from the file on their computer it says I own the file and under Group = staff, Access = Read only and Others = Read only.
This happens when others send files to my Drop Box also. When I send a file to someone I want them to have the ability to Read & Write to that file. What can be done to get this to work?

That's something I hadn't thought to try and it does work well. I just wish there was a way to make all files put into the Drop Box have read/Write access because we share files all the time here.

That's not what the Drop Box is for. Try using the "Shared" folder for this purpose...

When I try to put files in the shared folder a dialog states that I do not have permission to do that.

Then you need to " Repair permissions" with the help of Disk Utility.
