What would AI be without its instability, really? It's one of those "quirky" little things we've come to love about it.

Well, one might say it is "Artificial Intelligence".... without the intelligence.

I love how nobody's even bothered this time to ask what's going on with the forums. It's just an expected thing. How sad!

This is the second time now that I've gone to edit a post on the AI boards and it's gone down between the time I opened a thread to the time I've hit the "edit" button. The last time erased my account. If it's erased again, that'll be the last straw.

"Here!"

They need to sell the cube and build a real server like a linux or Win2k Server box.

Either that for find some people to control the cube/server who aren't completely and totally apathetic. As it is now, AI is an extremely low priority type of thing.

Anyone live near MacNN HQ that could just walk in there every few days and make sure the cube is turned on!?
Long live the AppleInsider forums!

... but the main AI page is still up and they have some exciting news. A new slimmer Titanium-like iBook is due next week! Whoo-hoo!

I wish there were some way we could move Doral's thread in "Future Hardware" over to MacNN. That's the only reason I ever visit AI anymore.

This is ridiculous. It's bad that the forum goes down every other day. I rarely visit the site anymore. Hell I rarely visit Macnn anymore because of it's new interface. This is a sad day indeed.
It's just my humble opinion.

Sorry, but which new inerface do you mean? The interface in the news section is back to what it was, and here the change is not too drastic and evolving, which of course cannot be said about AI.

Mind you things here are slowing down here all the time. Maybe AI set the standard for others to follow

AI? I have given up on them. It's like the Titanic. Well, things change, I guess.

Here again, again. At least there are no rumors to be discussing right now. Just repetitive guesswork about new iMacs and complaints over the non-appearance of an OS X update. Oh, and pscates' shower routine.

I really want the AI Mac Games section to be a better place. Now it's just a rant room, empty and desolate.
I know, I know, I'm just a rabid fan.

...or the (ugh) palm buyout rumors.

Though I do feel the need to rant about the X update not being out....

I think 68k was going to post sound files of funny noises made with his armpits to that thread just before the boards went down again. Something to look forward to.
