Yes, I know the BLINK tag is usually annoying, but it does have its uses in specialty effects like simulating a terminal cursor or a blinking clock colon and such.

Apparently, IE4 does not support it.

I find that rather annoying. I mean, they should at least provide an option to toggle it or something.

I thought the blink tag was included as a joke in the past. It was really never intended to be a standard tag in any official HTML release.

Anyway, if you need to simulate a cursor, use an animated GIF. That would be VERY easy to make. Just two frames. On and off.

I thought BLINK was purely a Netscape-only tag, and an annoying one at that...
