What is going on ?
There were no locks in this feedback forum until a month ago, and suddenly, every second thread gets locked.
I understand that some threads might not be fruitful, but this is lockinationfest is getting out of control, in my opinion.
And btw, my last thread ("mods lock for money in exchange"), has some serious side to it. For what reason was Hugi's original $ 10 thread locked, if not for some mod wanting to be cool and show off his lockination power ?
Ah well, that's my opinion. Guess the lock is to follow soon.

Dude,
the feedback forum is for feedback not for pi$$ing and moaning. The last few threads that were locked had absolutly no redeeming qualities except for amusement.

No, it didn't.
Why don't you create a thread: Criteria for locked threads and see what feedback that gets. But lock-a-thon is just bear-baiting and once again this thread serves no purpose.

Dude, this IS feedback. The $10 thread was locked in the Lounge, which IS for amusement. The mod who locked it locked it for no valid reason.
My thread discussing this was locked. WTF ?

Ok, following Randman's suggestion, I tried to rename the thread to "Criteria for locked threads", but it wasn't possible. Anyways, yes, this is an issue.
What are valid criteria for locked threads, especially in the Lounge ?

There are two criteria:
1) A moderator sees a thread that he thinks deserves lockination.
2) OK, I was just kidding, there's only one criteria.

It was a joke thread, and it was locked as the punch-line. Good grief, you people.

Rules of the NN forum for teh admins.
1. Project, project, project. If a person has a valid complaint, project whining into it. Or anything else to try to delegitimize it. Do anything to make the person or persons posting complaint look invalid. Act like everything was done fairly even though it was not.
2. Belittle said person/persons complaining. This can go along with #1. Calling them whiners, attack them about post count, past history even when it doesn't pertain to said events.
3. Act like all questions were answered even if they were, and if someone brings that up, lock the thread. Questions you don't want to answer because it would incriminate you don't have to be answered. Simply lock the thread.

Turtle and Zimph, you're one step away from getting banned for abusing the feedback forum. No more of this.
