Does an iTunes album count? Last album was X&Y-Coldplay.

I haven't bought a compact disk for years.

yeah, any incarnation of an album counts.
Do you like 'X & Y' ?
The single I heard sounds exactly like 'Clocks' to me.

Speed of Sound, might very well be my leeast favourite off the album. Although I do enjoy it, i dont think its exactly like clocks, but there definatly are bits that resemble it.

However the rest of the album, is actually quite good, with more listening it can push on some of my favourite stuff from coldplay
What If
Square One
Low

Are the 3 stand out tracks, IMO.

Yeah, I loved it too, but then I think Coldplay is one of those kinds of bands, ya know what I mean

Talk is my favorite song, but the first time I heard it I thought, Hmm...something about that reminds me of Kraftwerk, then I watched the video and they said they've been listening to Kraftwerk lately

Ye, Talk is a great song.
Sometimes a mainstream band, can still be great. People get swooped in non commercial music, because it gives them a darker cool vibe, althoug the music is very deep, sometimes a mainstream band, can have the same effect

Gosh, I don't buy CDs. Usually, if an act won't bother putting out vinyl, I won't bother paying for their music.

Actually, I rarely buy anything at all anymore (have too much already).

I think the last one I wanted enough to actually buy on CD was Laurie Anderson live in New York (recorded about a week after 9/11), bought about a year ago.

Latest vinyl, last week:
Grace Jones - Nightclubbing
Herbie Hancock - Secrets

The last albums I bought:

Brainstorm - Soul Temptation

Edguy - Vain Glory Opera

AFI - Black Sails in the Sunset

The last two were given to me (birthday) but I don't remember which is more recent, so all three it is.

I very strongly recommend all of them.

Hope the images aren't too much.

I wanted to buy the new Roisin Murphy solo album but it disappointed me a bit.

Last CD I bought was one of Gabriel Rios. I don't think anybody outside of Belgium knows this one.

Ynwei Malmsteen

I bought some Christmas Music too last year.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra's CD.
I download most of our music.

I still listen to Burt Bacharach, Cat Stevens (Before he went psycho Islamic)
Sinatra, Chopin, etc. etc.

I did find a bunch of CDs by our dumpster on a chair that had a sign, take me.
A lot of great music discovered in that lot. "LIVE" Throwing Copper... was one.

I discovered a great deal of music on Napster when it was OK, and it prompted me to get iTunes and download a bunch of those people.

The first two or three tracks surprised me a little at first, but it got really good after that IMO.

Third listen is the charm.

An awesome album, I think the only track I didn't really like was track 8, but I had been listening to a lot of the other tracks from the Sequins EPs, it does take a few listens.

Well I expected more of a Moloko sound that I couldn't find in it. But I guess I'll give it a second audition since I was in a hurry when listening to it.
