Does anyone know if Bluetooth USB Hubs exist? Unless I'm overlooking something and this is simply illogical, it seems like a good idea...

You would hook all of your regular USB crap into the hub and then it would link to your PowerBook (or whatever) via Bluetooth...

Thanks

USB 1.0 Transfer rate, max: 12Mbps

USB 2.0 Transfer rate, max: 480Mbps

Bluetooth Transfer rate, max: 720Kbps

That's why! (You're right, it's illogical.)

Hmm..

Are there any usb hubs that have bluetooth as well? Would be useful (and more economical perhaps) to buy a hub that would also allow you to use bluetooth.

Why bother? Bluetooth USB dongles can be bought so cheaply now that there would be little point in a manufacturer designing, manufacturing and marketing one - especially as more and more computers have built-in Bluetooth.

True, but I'd rather not buy a Bluetooth dongle if I can get it in a hub. That is, if I was planning on getting a hub anyway. You're right though, since more computers are getting built-in bluetooth, this kind of product would only be useful for those of us with ghetto-old computers (like my PCI G4).
