Anyone figure out how to save the special events with the new iPods? Both the nano and 5th gen videos are giving me problems when trying to use VLC to save them. I'd rather find a way to dump the stream instead of looking at a video captured solution.

rtsp://a2047.v1411b.c1411.g.vq.akamaistream.net/5/2047/1411/2_h264_650/1a1a1ae454c430950065de4cbb2f94c226950c7ae655b61a48 a91475e243acda3dac194879adde0f/oct_event_2_h264_650.mov is the iPod 5th gen link. No matter what I do with VLC 0.8.4, I can't get a local copy playable.

I'm looking for the Apple Event where they have the Death/funeral of OS 9. I think that was in a WWDC in 2000 or something.

iMac intro? iBook intro? and PM g4 intro? I'd be willing to get Keynote DVDs for $1.39 for two keynotes (good ones either a iMac intro and another one not boston 97, or two other good keynotes), or anywhere from .79-.99 for one. Maybe if no other takers $1.19 for iMac intro. Gotta have that iMac intro

No one has the iMac intro. I have the iBook intro that's MWNY 99. I might have the PM G4 intro, that was Seybold 99.

It works here. The speed is in the mid-30KB/sec, Safari says about 2 hrs to complete this 250MB video file.

were they both done by steve jobs? iBook and any major Power Mac revision other then G5's (seen 'em) would make a great dvd! Edit: Or Aqua intro or PowerBook G4 intro or ibook 500 intro.

You apparently don't have the iPod Nano, iPod Video and iSight iMac keynotes. I do. You also don't have the 1997 MWBoston keynote. I do

Let's trade. I'd really like the MWSF 2003 keynote. Lots of people are looking for that, I'd also like WWDC 2004, and iTunes Windows.

That's a very generous offer! I'd love a DVD-R of those keynotes and videos! The only one that you don't have on your list is Boston '97 and Steve Jobs on CNBC interview in Jan 2005 - I can put these on my iDisk if you want them.

I'll send you a private message!

Thanks,
Gavin

you know looking back through the keynotes, it's still amazing apple made it...the g4 stuck at 500 mhz, osX transition, 100K or so/quarter of early iPod adoption....G5 etc....only jobs could have done it

Yeah. MTK had it up for a few days before an admin brought it down, when it then jumped to Demonoid. Now it's back up at TKA, so... *shrugs*

Also, the official apple stream finally opened up the 650kbit video, after limiting it to 300. Now to wait for someone to streamrip the new one, as the torrent was of the old 300 one and also had some poor audio.

Bumping to see if anyone has a 650kbit WWDC file, or the recent iTunes Movie one.

http://a1825.phobos.apple.com/r10/Ke...eynote2007.m4v 1.12 gig version of the MacWorld 2007 keynote, directly from Apple. It's also in iTunes as a podcast.

I hope they keep this trend up, I'm still looking for the higher quality 2006 WWDC and the iTunes Movie keynote.
