OS 9.2
I'm looking for a program that catalogs removable discs such as ; CD's, Zip's, Jazz.
I was using one called "Virtual Disk".
It was great, it automatically cataloged any media being ejected, it updated if you added or removed data from lets say a zip.
The best part of it was you could search using Nortons "Fast Find" and it would find what disk the file was on.
All you need to do was number each disk.
However, It doesnt work on OS 9.2.1
Quick silver 867
I have hundreds of disks that I need fast access too.
Does anyone know of such a program?

I've been using Disktracker for years. Simple to use, searchable..quality little app...and the developers were nice enough to carbonize it for us.
Works on all media...CD's, Jaz, Zip...you name it.
Check versiontracker for the latest versions.

I've used Virtual Disk (back with System 7!) and found it a pain.
Iomega used to ship a great little app called "FindIt" with Zip drives. I think this program does basically the same thing as DiskTracker. In fact I still have it, and I think it still works under 9.2.1... but I don't use Zips anymore, so I don't really need to add yet another extension to my clutter. [/LIST]

My FindIt application only catalogs ZIP disks, while DiskTracker will catalog any removable media
