Decided to sell my 24 inch iMac. Below are the specs. I bought it last september. Bought a mac pro so don't need 2 macs. It does have one stuck pixel. It does have extended apple care. Below are the specs of a new one priced without tax which is how mine is configured. I will sell mine for $2250.00 without tax. I would prefer someone in minnesota or close by to personally get together for the transaction but if you want it mailed, you will pay shipping and insurance. I have recently sold a mini and powerbook here so if you want there names to show I am reputable, I will do so. PM me if interested.

Specifications (Apple store)

2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
2GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM - 2x1GB
250GB Serial ATA Drive
NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT 256MB SDRAM
SuperDrive 8X (DVD+R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
Apple Wireless Keyboard & wireless Mighty Mouse + Mac OS X (US English)
AppleCare Protection Plan for iMac
24-inch widescreen LCD
AirPort Extreme
Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR

NEW: $2,528.00 + tax from apple. $2150.00 from me.

Gonna be hard to sell it for this price, especially with a dead pixel ...

You might be better of selling it on eBay, although you can almost the same spec there but new

I think you're gonna have a tough time selling an iMac at THIS forum because people with iMac money are impatiently awaiting the new ones. Wait 'till after the release, and the people who are disappointed with them will snap this one up.

I think apples policy is 5 bad pixels before they repair it but not sure.

From my understanding, Apple requires you to have about 10 bad pixels to replace the screen on the 24-inch iMac. My iMac had about 10 bad sub-pixels, and the Mac Genius told me that mine barely qualified for replacement. My replacement still had one bad sub-pixel, which is pretty good for a screen of this size.

Can't see apple making them thinner, (according to the rumors sites), plus more powerful. They do generate a good amount of heat when using for awhile. A 30 inch would be sweet if the mac pro is to much of a machine for someone. Have to wait and see how they will pull off a thinner one.

No. With the upgraded ram, wireless keyboard and mouse, higher graphics card and 3 year apple care, this is still a very good deal.

Getting hard to compete with apples refurb of this model so will drop mine to $1550.00 shipped. Still have a little over 2 years left on apple extended care. Decided to hold off on any possible trades on laptops though. PM me if interested.

Yes, the OP posted in a thread earlier that day he may be interested in a trade for MBP...so I here we are. Thanks for your concern though, and it is pretty obvious he never sold his iMac.
