Think back 20-30 years. What car did you or your dad drive (try not to laugh). Look at your watch - pick up your phone (what fone? ha - mobile then) look at the laptop errr get the point?
Now lets fast forward. Lets try to imagine what we might be driving in 2035. Who makes it? What does it run on?? Who makes your watch, your phone, your laptop.. ???

I'd be very pleased to drive something that ran on hydrogen beads, assuming it is affordable.

Flying car? Sorry, not happening, too much pollution and the accidents would be horrendous. Just my though.

With energy prices out-pacing personal incomes, the average person will finally side for mass transportation, which by 2035 will have matched the speed of personal transportation.
The hoity toity will buy $40k economic cars, or $80k supercars if slightly richer, to drive on some of the remaining one-lane auto-bahns.
An arcology developer will buy your house for its lot for $900k and build a residence-enterprise facility for 500 people, with special piping for fertilization of the landlord's hydroponics penthouse.
Steve's brain will announce the eye-Phone 4, which finally solves the engineering problem of a face-facing camera, while being outpatient-surgically implanted in our retinas.
Cheney's brain will start marketing his new paralyzing automatic dart guns with a dial that goes from child to bear, necessary to wage another war for water.
Either that, or Idiocracy.
