This appeared on my desktop this morning:
What is that? I know it's the standard Desktop icon, but why is it hanging around the corner? It acted as if it were part of the desktop (clicking it did nothing and right-clicking brought up normal desktop options) and it wasn't affected by Expos. I've had the same desktop pattern for a long time, and when I started up this morning this was there. I changed the pic and it was gone. I opened the original and this wasn't there. I installed the Panther security update last night and turned off the computer. Any ideas?

I had the same thing happen this afternoon, but instead of being an icon of the desktop it was an icon of Meteorologist (the program).
a log-out/log-in fixed that.

Is it because you have some sort of hack installed that might not work with 10.3?
