On my system cd 1 (for 1.67GHz hi-res 15" Albook), I get the following error when running the "Install Bundled Software" package:

Before contacting Apple to see if I can get a replacement disc, would like to find out if others have run into this problem...?

I have the exact same problem with the "Install Bundled Software Only."

I think it's free for a replacement, you send in a software coupon. If you don't have one, it's $11 a CD. (I think, I still need to call myself to get mine replaced.)

Do you have a 1.67Ghz 15" PowerBook? I was trying to use it to install OmniGraffle.

Yes, that's the PB I have. Perhaps there was a bad batch of DVDs. I'm going to call Apple about it. OmniGraffle came pre-installed on my PB. Assumably this could be a problem when restoring the system.

same problem for me.. i tried to use the app called pacifist (on version tracker) to isolate and extract only the packages i wanted, but they read as "0 bytes" so i guess that my disc is indeed shot. I called an apple store, they said they can help me with a new one if I drop by.
