I'm forced to use a PC at work and I installed Safari on my computer, but I found a few annoying bugs and I was wondering if I was the only one to experience those:

1 - when sending an email from Hotmail, it takes about 2 minutes to be able to use Safari again, because it seems to be frozen
2 - When I try to insert an URL in a forum like MacNN, the floating windows to enter the URL seems to be "transparent", ie if I click in the box to type, it will put the cursor in the text behind the window and I will type there instead of in the box! Same thing with the OK button, I have to click twice because the first time it will click "thru".
3 - On facebook, when using the chat, if someone types something while I was typing elsewhere in the page or in the chat window, it will stop typing and I have to click again to replace the curson where I want to type to resume typing
4 - if I use the Backspace button on my keyboard, it will act as a "Back" button and I will lose anything I was typing. It does this randomly...

I've found several bugs in Safari for Windows over the years. I can't say I've seen any of the specific ones you mentioned, but they don't surprise me.

On the PC, I'm 100% in favor of Google Chrome. Fast, sleek, and uses a similar rendering engine to Safari's (they're both Webkit, though Google's version is slightly different and has a custom Javascript engine).

Any ramblings are entirely my own, and do not represent those of my employers, coworkers, friends, or species
