How can i set the cursor's state to busy?

Dear all ,
I want set the cursor's state to busy (Now ,the cursor is raibow ring )when cursor move to my main window . ol. In carbon . Thanks!

In Carbon, SetThemeCursor.

Why would you want to do this? The busy cursor is used automatically when the program doesn't respond to the window server for a given amount of time. Popping it up because you feel like it shouldn't happen.

thanks for reply ,i will try SetThemeCursor.
to Thinine .yeah , because in my widnow server , have one runloop to do something .and , there is
one callback to update the state . so ,the windown have chance to response the event .and the cursor will not be the busy . I want to set the cursor state to busy .when the runlopp run for doing something .

Then you pop up a progress bar or show an activity animation in the window. You do not, under any circumstances, use the busy cursor. It should only appear when the application is actually hung, not when it's merely working on something.

yeah , I try the SetThemeCursor ,it 's not good for me ..
