I know this may sound pathetic, but my grandmother just got a new G5 and HAS to have a scrabble game.. she's very picky about it and wants a real scrabble game that she can play against the computer. She has had one on her old PC, and will not be satisfied with her new desktop until she has scrabble. Does anyone know of a Scrabble game available for OS X that would meet her needs?

Can be ordered from AppleStore even. Games are simple but complete. Scrabble can be quite fun. I used to have the port of Risk for OS9 and this OSX version is identical. Monopoly is also quite fun.

Scrabble is very adjustable and very complete.

I have to ask why your grandmother has a G5, only because I am jealous.

She does alot of business still and wanted a reliable desktop that could be easily worked on/upgraded HD, RAM, etc. After playing around with my powerbook she decided she wanted a Mac instead of another PC... and after looking around at the iMac G5 heat problems we decided a powermac would be much safer to store important data reliably(will also be using external drive). She'll love it I'm sure. The dual G5 part was more her saying it was worth the little amount of difference... It will be configured dual 1.8G5/1GB RAM/Combo Drive/Bluetooth on a BenQ FP931 Monitor with the apple USB keyboard and a PC mouse (scroll wheel/right click)
