Cool! I can't wait to see more theming from you! Your Kschemes were really nice so your themes will probably continue to be really nice too! The unmodified metal apps are a little disconcerting though.... I thought I had installed 'Brushed' for a minute when I opened Safari. I understand that you probably wanted them to match iTunes etc, but I think you should try a variation woth some cool green metal or something.

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

usability should come before originality.

as original as that theme is, it's entirely unusable.

100% Agree with you... that scares me... OS X themes are NOTHING like the kaleidoscope days... back when there were a select few AWESOME themes and a SLEW of hideous TOTALLY unusable themes...

That so looks like a kaleidoscope scheme.

change to graphite to change the the drop down menu appearance...

i believe completely aqualess themes are fleeting and theme users are a neurotic bunch changing themes many times a day...usability is all relative...probably the only usable theme on the mac is aqua or a vaiation of aqua...a poll done here not to long ago showed a majority of theme users return to aqua or it's variants after trying out an aqualess theme...as i said usability is relative...what do you use it for...you don't use a bicycle as a dump truck...yet they are both transportation...you change when needed either for the sake of change or for necessity...most themes are used for the fun of it...and some are not fun but are very functional and are used for our tasks...you cannot argue with this or theming would not happen...we seem never to be satisfied with the theme we are using thinking i could change that widget or that scrollie or the color of this ot that...

henry ford said "give them any color they want as long as it's black"

i guess some autobody painters got a little tired of black...

rickie nelson said "you can't please everybody, you gotta please yourself"

led zeppelin said " ramble on..."

While I agree that you have to please yourself first and screw everyone else in some cases; this theme is a slap in the face of what Mac OSX is all about. A step forward in GUI design with high quality realistic elements. This theme looks even pre OS 9.

But screw me and follow your own path I say.

Has definite potential. I'm not sure I like it now, but keep at it. You might get somewhere good with a bit of tweaking.

Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast!
