Looking really nice, but the inactive tabs should really have darker text. Also, the paper textured background in the menus should be just a clean grey I think, and the scrollbars make me feel a bit uncomfortable, with the space on top. However, it looks really cool, besides that.

I agree with phillryu about paper texture, clean gray could be better. Anyway very cool style.

the light text on the tab in the screenshot is a quirk of 'themechecker'...here's how they really appear...

Have they changed theming such that you can now have white text in the title bar? I thought that was always a limitation of either carbon or cocoa (can't remember which)... always black text, no matter what you set in extras.rsrc.

I dig this theme hard. And I prefer the paper texture - it gives the theme character and sets it apart from others. It's not meant to be a subtle theme, I don't think.

But hey, I liked Golden Delicious. I'm not renowned for my subtle and elegant taste.

quandarry, you can use Theme -> Theme Preview in ThemePark to generate previews. I assume that you know this and aren't doing it because of the bug that's in it, but in case you didn't, thought I'd letcha know.

rgoer, you can use white text in Carbon apps, not in Cocoa. So you wind up with a schizophrenic operating system if you change the text colors.

The metal needs a rework, but I love the theme otherwise.
Maybe low contrast light 1 pixel pinstripes might look better in the menus than the paper texture?

That is one gorgeous theme.. really stretching the limits of the osX toolbar!

The scrollbars need some fixing up obviously, to match the original, but it's looking amazing so far..

Wait, doesn't the text go over the edges of the red part of the titlebar?

Well then as nice as this theme looks now, it's gonna look tacky as **** once the text rolls over the edges.

Well, it's been a year. So.....

I'm an idiot. LOL - but I remember seeing the theme when it was live and liked it. I cannot get through to quandarry - even though it's only been a day or two that i've waited

I also used it on XP a year and a half or so ago.
