I heard that you can upgrade the iBook with a 256MB chip. Is there any specifications I need to know about? I am trying to find the fastest, yet best price for 256MB of RAM for my original blueberry iBook. Any recomendations of places to look would be appreciated.

Try www.ramseeker.com

Lists prices and companies. Should be able to get your info there.

I was wondering if anyone dealt with any of these companies and if you could help me with what companies to stay away from. Some of the companies that I was looking into are: Data Memory Systems, Pacific Components, and Moon Business Systems. Also is there some place where I can find out the timing on these chips like if they are 2-2-2, or should I call up the company/email them and ask them?
