Hi,
I am considering buying a Powerbook for university and thought it would be useful if I could watch TV on it removing the need for a separate TV. 17 inches is more than enough to watch TV on.
I wanted to ask how I could watch TV on the Powerbook. I have no idea if you can fit a card inside the laptop? Or do you need something external that connects via USB?
I live in the UK, if that makes a difference.
Thanks for any help, and apologies if this has been discussed before. I did a search but couldn't seem to find anything.
Edit: I have looked at this product but it looks weird and I'm not sure if it's the best available?

EyeTV. www.elgato.com
The EyeTV 400 will pick up FreeView digital channels too. They are also sold on the Apple UK store site.

The worst thing about having a failing memory is..... no, it's gone.

Thanks very much for the reply. Does anyone have one of these, and if so, does it work well without any problems?
Thanks again.
