I tried for a few hours to record an analog signal (turntable --> edirol fa66 external soundcard analog in --> firewire in on macbook/mac pro) into Soundtrack Pro v 1.1. I tried changing Sampling rate to 44.1 to 48 and back and forth. I tried rebooting. I tried rebooting the soundcard as specified in the manual when changing Sample Rate. I know the mac see's the soundcard. I go into Sound Preferences and select Edirol FA66 as the INPUT and I get a signal. But then open up SDP, enable record on a track, i get nothing.

Then I open up Quicktime Pro, File --> New Audio Recording and I get a clear signal. I even try and record and everything works fine. So why is it that SDP can't see the signal?
