How are we treating them as objects, when they make themselves out to be perceived that way? Is there a double standard for when a woman takes pleasure in a man that way? Is the man guilty, or is he also a victim of "exploitation"? But whether or not if it's wrong, I at least believe it should be regulated with strict health guidelines to keep the participants free of STD's/pregnancy.

You're using them entirely for your own pleasure, exactly as you would an object. Because an object is one-sided so to speak. Its all about you without regard for them. That is what rape is as well, when it jumps from doing this by proxy to in person.

I don't think many women watch male porn to be honest, but yeah its exactly the same. My point was that if you do not feel its right to treat women/men as objects viewing porn is wrong.

The one case of an STD was the only one I believe. The porn industry has a nearly perfect record with that kind of thing. Like one guy said: "We only shut it down (production) to shut the media up."

That's funny coming from you.

Of course if you knew right from wrong, you would refrain from trying to derail interesting threads.

Just ignore it. It's fanboy silliness. I remember when I was banned the same people would call ANYONE new "Zimphire"

It was quite amusing watching them them stumble over themselves.

LAAAAWl you can't take part in a thread derailment and then report said derailment xenu.

I am betting Demon will say something like "You were part of it too, cut it out" to you.

Fact is, if a fanboy wouldn't have started, I'd have had no reason to reply. You can't expect to make a personal attack at someone in the middle of the thread and expect them NOT to respond. Right? Right.

So if you have anything else personal to say to me, pvt message me.

Okay, so I can go kill someone and then say "Adam introduced sin into the world, it his fault not mine!"? Really, you're just as responsible as they are when you reply.

Jesus said to turn the other cheek. He said pour coals of kindness on them. He said to love them as yourself. I cannot recall him saying to respond in kind or, as is often the case with you, strike preemptively.

The way you act is an embarrassment to Christianity.

That's right. All attacks should be so broad that they cannot be construed as "personal". Atomic Rooster, learn from Zimp's example. Attack everyone in general who talks like him ... but not him personally.

That is NOT against the rules.

As long as it isn't personal, then it's not breaking the rules, and I wouldn't have said a word.

But I bet the fanboys can't do that.

Once again Zimphire enters a topic, and there it goes.

His first post was a lock. His intentions were quite clear.
In later posts he became confrontational.

However, all is not lost, as this can be considered on topic, and educational.

After all, he knows that what he is doing is wrong, yet he does it. I guess the question is why do people do the wrong thing, even though they know it is wrong?

If there is an absolute right and wrong, would hackers create viruses, knowing the damage they cause?

Would people 'steal' music when, for example, Apple's music store makes it a simple process to buy that music?

There are no absolute rights or wrongs. Just 'civilised behaviour'. The definition depending on the civilisation.

Thats about as valid as saying that if Adam hadn't have sinned you would have NEVER shot that guy. Doesn't justify it in the least and you know it.

I think people need to see this.

No, its supposed to wake you up to your childish, immature, and un-Christian behavior. But if want to just pass it off as "silly", fine. Every time anyone tries to show you how you're behaving you say EXACTLY the same thing. Fine, hide behind your one-liners, your childish justifications, and whatever other **** you want to shovel. You're going to have one hell of a time hiding from God though.

I guess ego has a lot to do with it.

But surely a mature person would realise the damage they are doing. Are there old hackers? What is the average age of the music downloader?

Is there a stage when we realise that doing the 'right' thing is easier than doing the 'wrong' thing? Not so much because of any absolute truth, but simply because we have 'grown up', or 'conformed'.

You're trying to say that its okay for you to reply because THEY started it. If that isn't justifying then I have some dictionaries to burn. I never accused you of derailing this thread, I said you were trying to justifying it by saying they started it.

You would have a good point, presuming of course I was being a hypocrite. I believe though that the Bible says that it is my duty to show you the error of your ways, presuming of course I am not making the same error. None of us are perfect, but that doesn't mean we can't correct each other.

Another one-liner. No, this has to end here and now. You won't go to hell over this but it is a large step in the wrong direction and I can not live with myself and not do what I know the bible tells me to do.

If you can't be humble enough to listen when someone is trying to "edify" you then you should never have become a christian.

Is there an absolute right or wrong?

Is it right to kill someone if you knew they would become a mass murdered? (I believe Stephen King wrote a story about that one. I think Sheen snr was in the movie.)

Some would say yes. Yet these same people wouldn't dream of killing their neighbours.

Tulkas you are doing the EXACT same thing I am doing, and you are BELITTLING me for it, while acting superior. That is why I told you to get a grip.

You have an obsession with me. Get over it. I could care less what you think about me and Christianity. It is of no concern. Do you think Jesus would approve of your actions in here today? Of course not. Not that you'd probably give a hoot.

At least I will be praying that you come to your senses. Not that I expect that to mean much to you anymore. Seems you've lost a sense of everything it means to wear the name "Christian".

What needs to be done Tulkas? And who are you to think you are the person to do it?

Step off your high horse, and realize you are doing exactly what you accuse me of doing.

It's humorous from where I am sitting.

I know you THINK you are "showing me". All you are doing is making my "fanboy" comments out to be true.

You can't help yourself. You are obsessed to the point where you don't even realize YOU are doing the EXACT same thing you are getting your panties in a knot about me doing.

You need to think about your own actions before you hit the "submit" button and stop being such a hypocrite. I understand you are all but 17, and still have a lot to learn about life, but that is no excuse for your actions.

I'll ask you again Tulkas. Would you please keep your gripes with me in private message and not derail the topic further?

Or do you plan on obsessing more over how you don't think I am a "good Christian" and further proving my fanboy point Mr Lord Of Darkness?

Your choice.

Ghostflash was a conservative that riled up a lot of liberals in here. He isn't banned, but he doesn't come around as often. Now the obsessed fan boys are paranoid and think ANY new person that shows up with conservative beliefs HAS to be ghost!

They pulled the same silliness on my vacation. I think they even said ghost_flash was really me! *snort*

So it comes back around full circle.

You'll probably be accused of being more people before the week has ended.

Not at all, because rape is to force oneself onto another against a persons will. Porn stars can hardly be considered rape victims.

voted for answer number 2 'cause it's teh truth!

some things are just plain wrong (murder, rape, molestation etc.)

where does the line get drawn? i decide that for my life, and nobody else.

other than that it's "do what thou whilst" and survival, by any means necessary.

If you can't be humble enough to listen when someone is trying to "edify" you then you should never have become a christian.

At least I will be praying that you come to your senses. Not that I expect that to mean much to you anymore. Seems you've lost a sense of everything it means to wear the name "Christian".
At least there's proof that some Christians understand their faith.

If furry purple aliens were invisible and I said I believed in them you would have no way to prove otherwise. The best you could do is carry on with your own beliefs and roll your eyes when my back is turned.

And of course I could say the world was created thirty seconds ago and you couldn't prove me wrong.

You have an obsession with me. Get over it. I could care less what you think about me and Christianity. It is of no concern. Do you think Jesus would approve of your actions in here today? Of course not. Not that you'd probably give a hoot.

Hypocrisy at it's finest.

Again, get a grip. [/B]
Yes, I must have forgotten the eleventh commandment: "Thou shalt not derail threads Zimphire hath already derailed."

I believe it was I who told you to get a grip because of your behavior and you were the one who tried to justify. Failing that you said it was silly. Failing to prove it was silly you screamed fan-boy, frankly this whole "fan-boy" thing is getting a little bit psychotic.

Hmm, but the Bible states that we are brothers in a very real sense. Would Jesus approve? James 5:19-20: "My brothers, if one of you wanders away from the truth and somebody brings him back, 20 you may be sure that whoever brings a sinner back from his wrong path will save his soul from death and cover a multitude of sins."

So your christianity is of no concern?

Again, trying to push it back on me.

My posting was a reference to the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy; that the Earth was a giant computer and our lives a giant computer simulation.

The code that we both claim to live by gives me every right, even the obligation, to show you your error. I've watched you sliding for too long and ignored it. This isn't about accusations, this is about the un-christ-like behavior by someone who claims to be a christian.

Of course I must be imagining this! Your excuses are getting thinner than road kill, not to mention the smell.

If you can explain how I'm not acting like a christian I'll gladly listen.

I don't think that God really matters to you anymore. Its just all about you arguing. Its YOUR choice to act like a christian or not and you know it. You can either sacrifice everything you supposedly dedicated your life to or not.

This is a choice between right and wrong.

God is the one and only, the creator of us all. Knows the beginning and the end.
