I just purchased a used Apple Cinema Display without manual. Anything I should know about maintenance or set up?

How about monitor tilt? How does one use that?

Thanks.

The joy's of owning apple products is you really don't need a manual. Hook it up and let her run - as simple as that.

Yes. But I'm coming from 10 years of CRT and this is my first LCD. I wanted to know about maintenance, rules to extend the life of the backlight, etc.

Get a screensaver specifically designed for use with an LCD.
Many screensavers are written with CRTs in mind, and the LCD is a very different piece of kit.
A saver which will save a CRT may help to kill an LCD.

I think for the most part a screen saver is not needed. Even with today's crt's you need to work at burning an image in. The technology employed with LCD's prevent this phenomenon. The only issue I think that could happen is you want to preserve the backlight life as that is rated in MTBF.

All in all, they are not needed imho.
