I have an ibook G4, I use the ibook video adapter with an S-video cable to run movies etc on my TV. Two weeks ago, I plug it in and the picture on the tv is scrambled black and white mess. I tried cleaning the output port, but it still didn't work, so I thought maybe its the adapter, so i bought a new one, and it still scrambled! Please help!

More than likely, say hello to your new logic board.

You're saying I need a new logic board? There's no other way to fix this?

If it's not the adapter and not the cable to the TV, it must be the graphics chip on the logic board. Try the composite (yellow) video output as well as try hooking up to an external monitor to see if it's just s-video that's the problem. However, it probably isn't just the s-video and you need a logic board replacement.
