Is anyone watching it this year? I think this season has been pretty good overall...

...but jeez tonight's episode sucked hard. What did y'all think?

Yeah, I've been pretty unimpressed with this season so far, but this one was especially bad.

I've not been as pulled in by it this season, I'm a few eps back still. The previous seasons on DVD I devoured.

I think it would be good for more changes of scenery. Miami is getting tiresome.

It's definitely a lot choppier and much less compelling this season.

Production quality was poor last season; lots of scenes just stopped and then cut to the next.

I've been happy with this season, but I haven't seen the most recent ep.

The last episode I saw wasn't too great. Kendra was supposed to come off as sexy and flirty, but she was awkward and annoying.

And I think they've run out of bad guys - drug dealers, scam artists, kidnappers...uh...drug dealers...uh...

Otherwise, love the show.

Perhaps they're running out of money? They can't even afford a bra for Fiona.

I fail to see the problem there.

She's too flat, overtanned and anorexic looking to care.

Edit: Looks like she's had a nose and lip job, too

Well with as much money as Hyundai is paying them for the "casual" mentions of "good handling and RWD are great for getting you out of a tough situation, and having over 300 horsepower doesn't hurt either," they can't be doing too badly. And all of the close-ups on the taillights, rims, etc.

Yeah, I never found Fiona very attractive either, actually.

I watched the first three seasons. Starting watching the fourth season, and gave up on it a couple weeks ago – just couldn’t be bothered.

I've been trying to figure out what all has been bugging me so far this season. The list is long. A few things:
I don't like the new burned spy, if he sticks around, the show is done.
Where is the higher story with the syndicate or whatever, there needs to be some progression.
Even when the bad guys are good, the victims are really lame or something.
I'm getting tired of Texas disguise Michael Westin.
The new guy really sucks. He's ruining this show. I hope they have Bruce Campbell kill him Bubba Hotep style, but less boring.

Agree this season hasn't thrilled. Adding a new character is such a cheap device, and the premise of Michael burning the new guy seemed kinda tacked on. I liked the first couple of seasons, and I still think there's a lot of fertile ground there. It won't get developed, though if they keep tossing off these 'Alexander-the-Great's-sword' storylines. I was embarrassed for them.

The average 12 year old boy has more chest than Fiona ... so does it really matter?

In any event, I'm definitely a Burn Notice fan. It's a very entertaining show IMO. I've watched it regularly since the first season.

I had no idea of what you people were talking about here, so I had a squizz at Google.

Since "Fiona" is Gabrielle Anwar, it would appear that some of you are about to go all Salty on us. Gentlemen: Put the handbag full of rainbows down and step away from the closet.

Read an article the other day (I'll try and track down the link) that said Matt Nix (show creator) has really been focused on his other show, which may explain why this season's Burn Notice has been a bit off.

What's the other show? And hasn't he learned from Whedonverse not to do that?

Fiona is pretty enough, but could use a sandwich. Michael needs more hot tub scenes, but no more hillbilly personas. Chuck Finley rules.

One would have hoped he'd learn. Ah, well.

The new show is called The Good Guys.

Really enjoyed last night's episode. It finally felt they had everything clicking (with once exception that I won't yet spoil for those that haven't watched yet), and I loved seeing Burt Reynolds, although a bit saddened to see how frail he's looking...

I'm a fan of Fiona!

This season is not up to par though. Adding the 4th main character is weak.

I have NOT kept up with it this season but mostly because I am on the road nearly constantly. I do have the eps on my DVR though so I'll catch up. Eventually.

Burt Reynolds was good. "You mean I can't shoot Russians?"
