Hi gang.

I'm trying to find one specific feature: a video player that supports chapter tracks. The built-in player apparently decided to REMOVE this feature in iOS 5.1. So I figured that maybe another player had already added this feature, and obviously no other developer would be stupid enough to think that removing features is a good way to make new versions of the app better.

But this has raised a larger question: how in god's name do you search for iphone apps? The App store seems completely useless for this. I go to the "video and photo" category, and then it's a dead end. I see a link for the "photo" only section, but how do I narrow my selection to "video" only? Is it even possible? And theoretically, all the app descriptions should be indexed by google somehow, but it's not turning up any pages.

I hope someone has figured out a way to cut through all this nonsense... little help?

Also, if anyone knows of any 3rd party apps that play video and support chapters, I would be ever so grateful for a kick in the right direction.

-Thanks

Supposedly the search feature is a major part of the new app store coming with iTunes 11.

Thanks. So do I take that to mean that there's no good way to search now?

AppShopper provides some better ways to search but it's still not really good enough.
