Cannot avoid its own obstacles. So trees, cliffs, power lines, lift lines, buildings out of the question? That seems like it could cause a problem.

But the "adventurer" is busy, you know, adventuring. Not looking out for their drone!

The 20-minute battery life isn't unusual. Once you can just throw it up there and not worry about it running into anything, it will be great.

My buddy has a new DJI Phantom 3 and we've been fooling around with it on local bike trails. The video is pretty insane I must say.
