I noticed that scrolling is more choppy when Shape Shifter is running a theme... then I installed the same theme with ThemeChanger (It does work with Tiger) and Scrolling in Safari is much smoother now.

Just figured I'd let anyone know so they don't think they're going crazy.

Also, my Sys Prefs window becomes un-unified with ShapeShifter.

I was wondering about this. Having ShapeShifter on seems to disable the unified look everywhere. Is it not supported yet?

my scrolling was choppy, even in the finder but I was using an image for the backgrounds, when I changed it to a solid color it was normal again.

My guess would be Jason is disabling it to force all themes to pull the standard toolbar pxm's, as most themes don't contain the proper pxm's to render a unified toolbar all nice and themed.

No clue regarding scrolling. Can you cite a test case?

Here's my canonical answer. Search that article for "unified".

i'd also just like to say that i can't wait until ShapeShifter brings back the unified look.
