9.2 and ridding of Shared Folder

	I have a Shared Folder and discovered that when using airport between my Pismo and G4 I can't access/use the applications on the laptop unless I put the app into he Shared Folder. Can I just trash the Shared Folder easily? And then I'd be able to specify 'sharing' for my entire hard drive. Thanks.
