I just worked 8 - 12 hour days in a row, Sunday through Sunday.

Damn I'm TIRED!! I only have to work Wed. and Thur. this week though.

It sucked, but Sunday through Saturday = 84 hour check = 118 hours worth of pay!
Being in debt and celebrating a lower deficit is like being on a diet and celebrating the fact you gained two pounds this week instead of five.

The government will get most of that OT hours. Depending on what happens in November, it may even get worse.

That's no joke. I should gross about $2200 and bring home about $1500.

Probably about 22,000 for the week. We usually get about 3,000 to 3,500 per 12 hour shift depending on whether we had problems or not.

Not at all. It's a fully automated plant. Some days (like Friday, Saturday and Sunday last week) I work my ass off solving problems, cleaning, fixing stuff etc. Mostly I have plenty of goof off time. A lot of guys have notebook computers to play games on and watch movies.
