What you say is quite true, MacManOne, but it has been known for many years. There's even a theory that "Paul Thurrott" does not exist as a person, that he is merely a nom de plume for an underground marketing department at Microsoft. His many thousands of articles in major PC magazines have inconsistent styles, and the man runs not one, not two, but three of the biggest Windows news sites on the Net. There is also the fact that he uses design elements so close to Microsoft's own that it's inconceivable that they would not sue him for trademark infringement unless he were already on the payroll.
