The review: "Tiger a 'worthy' XP competitor, but a 'minor' upgrade," written by Paul Thurrott at his SuperSite for Windows at http://www.winsupersite.com/reviews/macosx_tiger.asp clearly reveals Thurrott's OS preference. Additionally it exposes his tortuous critique as one authored by just another Windows-using pretend Mac fan who gets his kicks on the one hand by feigning respect for Apple's Tiger OS while contemptuously stabbing it in the back with the other.

What you say is quite true, MacManOne, but it has been known for many years. There's even a theory that "Paul Thurrott" does not exist as a person, that he is merely a nom de plume for an underground marketing department at Microsoft. His many thousands of articles in major PC magazines have inconsistent styles, and the man runs not one, not two, but three of the biggest Windows news sites on the Net. There is also the fact that he uses design elements so close to Microsoft's own that it's inconceivable that they would not sue him for trademark infringement unless he were already on the payroll.

Looking at his number of posts, methinks that MacManOne might just be a nom de plume for "Paul Thurrott", which in return (as Millenium pointed out) is nothing more than a facade for a buch of pimple-faced marketing dorks at Microsoft.

Maybe he/they just posted this here to drive traffic to the "dude, Windows is suuuper" site? MacManOne - a "A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing" ??
