using msn mssgr on my iBook works great, but everytime i shut down the book, msn is lost and i have to download it again.this is getting old fast.
can msn mssgr stay resident?
how?
will iChat work with msn users?

any answers appreciated!

It's strange that it is disappearing like that. It is a file like any other on your computer and shouldn't be able to delete itself. I have no such problems with MSN on my machine. Just to cover bases, but you are copying it from the .dmg image to your hard drive, right?

And, iChat won't communicate with MSN.

i agree. i think you haven't copied the file from the .dmg to your app folder.

Does sound like its being run from the dmg image, and hasnt been copied to the Applications folder before starting. Thats the only way I can think of for that to happen!

It'll be much easier if you just comply.
