So, I've discovered that my MacBook thinks that the battery has infinite life.

With my MagSafe plugged in, first of all, the percentage on the neubar only reaches 99% (with the JUice widget, it records 100%).

But that's tno the peculiar thing.

When I unplug my MagSafe, my MacBook still records that it's charging, and battery percentage does NOT go down.

Any clues? I'm stumped.

So, I restarted and it's fine.

Eagerness got the best of me -- my apologies for wasting valuable forum space.

I retract my retraction. Despite closing my MacBook, it will not fully charge.

So, if I unplug my MagSafe at 95%, it will stay at 95%, no matter how long it charges for. It's also stuck on "calculating" the time left. This doesn't change.

Weirdness.

Also, if the battery is at 95% or higher when it's plugged in, the battery will not charge. It must be under 95% to start the charge process. It's supposed to extend the life of the battery by doing this...

All glory to the hypnotoad.
