The drill bit for this oil rig is what was attached to that clamp, and now it’s slid down the well.

Apparently, the fix will be anywhere from tens of thousands of dollars to several million.

We found this when we came back from a day on the lake fishing. The truck belongs to the lodge we were staying at. It brings the lunch boxes from the lodge. We heard the drive forgot to set the parking brake and it rolled backwards and off the dock. They got it out with minimal damage.

Where did Mr. "I can slip in behind the train" have this mishap? Because I want to avoid that country. Something is whispering "maybe Russia" to me, but...

And bulls are mean. Really mean. And smarter than they seem, especially when they're ticked off.

I think the truck says “КАМАЗ”, so you’re in the zone.

Luckily, these are tiny bulls.

I get the impression they’re actually smart enough to realize they’re in “showbusiness”, at least with rodeo bulls.

They put on an “act”, and then get nom-noms and scratchies for it.

Thankfully, no.

The driver had some rearrangement of the vertebrae, and broke their hand. There was a coma involved, but it sounds like it was induced.

My Spanish is mucho rusty, but “la víctima sufrió múltiples fracturas y fue trasladada al Hospital Pirovano para su recuperación” I think translates to “not dead yet”.

Edit: someone did the math and it was over 100mph (170kph).

Lots of broken bones from this one, but no death, and no visible injury. I’m only spoilering it because it’s still kind of a shock if you’re not expecting it. I’m guessing it’s the POV aspect.

One of the reasons there’s no death is the guy was “lucky” enough to hit a fire truck, and they called in a helicopter.

Also note, his helmet flies off.

IIRC, this happened 3 months ago, and the guy’s still recovering, but it was somehow all extremities. Spine and head made it through.

Friend of mine died in pretty much exactly that situation.

He was a pastor and had just got engaged.

Unfortunately, this one had little accompanying detail other than the hypothesis it was a test, and that they’ve since figured out how to reliably stop hitting themselves.

Jalopnik did a bit on it, and actually found some decent info in the YouTube comments that the gif was stolen from.
