I bought Leopard but have been waiting until the 10.5.1 update is out to install it so am ready to install today. I have a MBP though and heard about the MBP keyboard freezing issue. Did the 10.5.1 update fix this problem?

I haven't had any issues since upgrading to 10.5.1 but I'd give it a couple of days before I say that it's fixed.

I have a MB, but expierianced it about a week ago. a Pram reset fixed it.

My MBP has been using Leopard since day 2 of the release (couldn't get to the store on day 1). Never heard of this keyboard freezing problem and I've not experienced any keyboard freezing either.

I think this is the keyboard issue. Not sure if everyone's experience is like this.

Please pardon the quality, orientation and narration...it was very late at night.

'Never had a keyboard issue before but I just had this freeze. I upgraded my MBP 2.4 to Leopard when it came out and did a combo update when 10.5.1 came out. I just now experienced this for the first time.

The problem sadly is not fixed. I had the keyboard intermittently work for me after connecting and later disconnecting an apple wireless keyboard. It is really annoying when this happens.

I can confirm this is still not fixed.
I bought my MBP the day 10.5 was released so I got both sets of installation disks. lucky, since this issue is very real (for me) and has forced me to downgrade the OS. Its totally unusable otherwise.

Do you have a wireless or other external keyboard at all? Mine seems to only happen after I use the wireless keyboard.

This is definitely NOT fixed. I bought my MBP on black friday, and my keyboard has frozen every day I have owned it. Came here to look for answers since it froze just a few minutes ago.

This is just completely ridiculous now. I had to wait to even type this because my keyboard froze. It's freezing when I switch between every app. I have an apt. with the Genius Bar tomorrow, they better help me because now it is just plain annoying.

I never had this problem until recently - suddenly over the last two days it's happening all the time.
