I have just installed the British Version of 8.6 and the installation worked like a dream and all seems fine except ...
When I startup my video player, I get a white screen. I still have sound and can change channels but I get a white screen. If I re-size the video window, the TV picture comes back. Change channels and I lose it again. ARGHH !
Any ideas ? I have a 6500/300 creative studio and I've tried using an older version of the video player and extension but I get the same problem.

I had this problem a few months ago with Quick Time 3 movie player. I was trying to run QT3 content with a QT 2.5 movie player. So all I can suggest to fix it is to make sure you have the VERY latest release of Quicktime 4 (beta .22?)

Upgrading to the appropriate version worked for me. If anything, downgrading to 3.0 or 2.5 will only make things worse
