I've posted this before, but got no replies, so I'm gonna try again...

Sometimes if I'm working in a program, and I click on a Dreamweaver window to bring to front, it selects that window, but gets "stuck" in behind my current window. No matter how many times I click on it, it won't come to front. I have to click back on my previous program and then back on Dreamweaver again. It's very annoying. Anyone else have this happen? I'm pretty sure it's only with Dreamweaver.

It's weird...if I do a Cmd-Tab back and forth between the programs that never happens.

Any advice?

Are you looking for advice on how to make this not happen? Just use command tab I guess. I've never had this problem to be honest, it's happened sometimes in IE and the finder.

Sorry I can't be much help.

I can confirm the problem. It happens largely when an information window pops up in the background and it cannot be clicked, although the problem described happens sometimes as well.

Try Option-click (or Command-click)

Works sometimes.

sometimes clicking or click+dragging on the specific window works as well.
but id also like to know how/why this happens every once in a while.

I get this alot in many apps. It's periodic and only happens once in a while, but it is annoying. I don't have Dreamweaver either.

Thanks, all...makes me feel better that I'm not alone on this one.

I'm gonna send some feedback to Apple about this. Hopefully they can take care of it. I know it's not critical - but it sure would be nice!

Just confirming this...I use Dreamweaver on a daily basis and it is quite annoying...of course I am so used to it by now, that I would probbaly miss it if it would get fixed.
