here's what i want to do, but i'm not sure if the apple raid utility is destructive when it creates a raid volume or not

i currently have a dual 2g g5, with the standard 160gb drive from apple. i'm paranoid to have 1 drive with all my stuff on it with no real disaster recovery plan

i'm wondering if i purchase another drive (duplicate of what i have in there now) can i setup a raid1 (mirror) without having to nuke drive0? will it let me create the mirrored set and say that i just want this existing drive to be mirrored to the new drive (without reloading)?

i've only ever delt with high end server raid stuff, and i always start that stuff fresh, however i know the scenario i am describing isn't possible on those systems (all raid creation is destructive)

thanks
