hi all. i have an eyehome media streamer, but quite honestly the thing pretty much sux. it's slow and seemingly underpowered to do many cool things, but i just haven't found many alternatives on the mac platform. on the windows side there must be 50 options, but as usual we are getting left behind (ignore the fact that apple pioneered getting music onto the computer and making it really portable.... hint apple).

anyway, any other solid options you all are aware of? it should integrate well with itunes, obviously, so that all the playlists and whatnot are easily viewable. also, i prefer those that have a tv interface, since scrolling through the 5000 songs i have is just stupid on a little lcd screen on the device. other features are cool (like viewing pictures, etc), but music sets *my* minimum requirements.

i was looking at the eyehome as well, but what i really want is to be able to stream video/audio from my mac to my tv. the eyehome seems to do this but from reading the site it doesn't go into much detail so i'm hesitant to even try it.

what other kind of options exist for pushing media (audio/video) from a mac to a television? i don't care if i have control via the tv, but i want the output to be the television.
