On last night's episode, Mulder and Scully were looking at a brain scan of one of the characters on the show. They were looking at it on a blue & white flat panel Studio Display and the Apple logo was quite noticeable in several scenes. I think they were at a hospital or some lab and not their usual FBI offices.
I know that's really geeky of me to be that "aware" of what some monitor on a TV show is, but isn't that what this particular column's about...noticing and remarking on the least bit of Apple sighting on TV or the press?

Nothing geeky about it... I notice it all the time, and I'm not a geek.

Not only are you not geeky -- you're cool!

Three things struck me about your observations...

1. You have good taste in TV viewing ;
2. You have a discerning and discriminating temperament;
3. You are intelligent as you have an interest, knowledge and passion about all things Apple.

I often find myself peering into the background of commercials, prime-time programs, and programs in general, looking about to sight some Apple-logo'd stuff. Although there are some who might with to argue the point, I'm certainly not a geek.

My hat's off to you on the X-File sighting. You know... the truth IS out there!!

P.S. It will probably be discovered through a G4 processing a SETI@home work unit... Now **that's** something I'd love to see on a future X-File (LOL)!!

Speaking of mac type x-files, has anyone noticed that for the first 3 or 4 seasons Scully and Mulder were both using macs and then suddenly, they were using PC's!!!??? I smell a plot...

...a shadowy, insidious conspiracy, no doubt, in which Cancer Man figures prominently

BTW pscates, did you also notice that around the same time Scully and Mulder stoped using MAcs, that they also stopped calling the guy CANCER MAN, he is now known as "the cigarette-smoking man"!!! Coincidence? I THINK NOT!

Did these changes become effective when they moved the whole operation of making the episodes from Vancouver to politically correct California?

No I don't think the changes took place at the same time. I think I first noticed these things a year or so before they went south (Dinks!)
