I hate the merge of two looks.
The whole idea is sorta warped.

People still get tattoos? Didn't that fad go out of style 10 years ago?

I'd get one but I need to get some of my other ones touched up first. I have the is idea of getting a combination of some Giger work starting at my foot. Make it look like some servos/hydraulics are going into the tendons on the foot then work it's way up to my ankle. By the time it's at the ankle have it looking like a circuit board with a G5 chip or something. Somehow work an Apple logo (I'd do solid) into that.
Anyone feel like drawing one up for me? I can't explain the vision to people when I talk to them about it and I can't even draw stick figures.

What do you think? I'd have it one solid color rather than merge of these color. I do not want people to think I'm gay.
Anyone out there have Apple tattoo?? Post them here!!!!!!
That's a really poor looking tattoo. The guy should've shopped around for a better artist first. The idea is cool I guess, just the execution sucked. Oh well.

I've never loved anything enough to tattoo it on my body.
Who knows, in 20 years, the Apple logo could be a symbol for a pervert... kind of how the Microsoft logo is now.

That's BS. The execution is perfectly fine.
I'm not sure about the idea though, personally I would never tattoo a brand on my body. But whatever floats your boat.

Well I don't have a clue about how realistic tattoos can be, but I agree that this one came out pretty poorly - it's not at all true to the original image (which wasn't that great to begin with).

The Apple "spectrum" logo is not the same rainbow as the gay pride rainbow. (Indeed, the order of the colors and the choice of colors in both is not negotiable.)
Old Apple logo: green, yellow, orange, red, purple, cyan
Gay pride rainbow: red: orange, yellow, green, blue, purple
As for Apple tattoos... umm, yeah, this is nothing new. Wired.com had an article about them a while ago, and there are websites devoted to Apple tattoos.

P.S. What's wrong with being gay, eh?

Thx for not forgetting me hehe... been busy and have lived .. around since I was more frequently here... now been busy working ...
My apple ended in The Cult of Mac book, which I got a copy ... and my bf got a copy, so everybody in Austin probably has seen it ..
Cool tattoo, that guy has.
Actually ... me and my bf are about to get inked.. have been about to get inked since December, but I was ill and then we've been just too busy around, and now waiting for him to be back .. which is then going to be the Powerbook power buttons on us on roughly same locations within hte next 2 months (should be able to find time in that time range) ..

You're far too harsh a critic - see seasons 3-8, possibly even 9 on SNPP - those were the glory years. I once was concerned that the show would end before its time, but now I pray for it to be put to rest. Amazingly, some people still seem to like it, although I suppose said people are also Family Guy fans.

What is wrong with brands? I think this is a great brand. The Eagle Globe and Anchor is something that I worked hard for and will forever be a meaningful part of my life. Also dragons are something that I have always loved and found to be magnificent. I think that tattoos are intended for the tattoo E and no one else. If you are getting a tattoo to impress people you are making a huge mistake. It should be something that you love will love and will not ever dislike. If it is 20 years from now you will kick yourself in the ass.

I agree. As much as I love Apple, the idea of having a brand logo tattooed on my body is not one I favor. How do you separate the "idea" of Apple, and the reasons why we love Apple or the Mac from the corporation itself? On the other hand, perhaps a tattoo of Hexley would be more appropriate since it is not owned by any particular company, but represents the collective effort and love of Darwin itself.
However, considering the pace at which things change within the computer industry, it may be wisest to avoid any kind of permanent marker at all (Actually, perhaps that goes for everything, too!)

In exception to those two (and maybe one or two others on the site), they all looked pretty bad to me. I'll bet most of those people are sorry they got it done. I mean rainbows on a guys arm/leg/whatever? How long did they think that would look cool? And the original link.... bleh! A huge ugly picture branded into your leg forever!

I'm implying that I am "gay" in the old fashioned sense, happy. Perhaps you're too young to remember how the term was originally used?
