Or rather maybe it is the DVD Player application that isn't recognizing the disc. I am able to play Movie DVD's using VLC. I am able to read regular Data DVD's. It seems that DVD Player can't see the dvd. And I am trying bought from the store DVD's and burnt (copied) DVD's.

Anyone else run into this problem? Is it a MacBook only thing or is it happening on other people's machines? Is it a bug with DVD Player?
