Bought the Bot as a temp computer till I decided on which new intelMac to get and only to play EQII with my buddies.

Bot is a P4 3.2Ghz 1GB Ram Win2K ATI x1300 256MB PCI-E Card (low end).
iMac is stock but with the 7600 GT running XP.

Using 3D Mark 03 demo I got:
Bot 4152
iMac 12678

Bootcamp worked flawlessly including the all at once drivers install CD you create. Not surprisingly Apple does it smoother than anyone else. I had to wait a few days for my XP software so I dusted off my WoW CDs and played in OS X. Full res, everything cranked except view distance (at 33%) I got ~32 FPS average, my rev A, 17" PB gets ~11 with conservative settings. EQII set on preset Better Appearance (one higher than Balanced) but at full resolution looks and plays fantastic. I was totally mezmerized.

The barefeats benchmarks prompted me to CTO the 7600 and it's a must if you game. Summary, Apple finally gave us a fully updgradable (in theory) awe-inspiring, gaming, iMac.

A full res screenshot for your viewing pleasure. (Putting it in preview and showing full size (you may have to scroll )will give you and idea of how it engulfs you).
